Die Buchkunst wirkte pragend fur die moderne Schrift- und Buchgestaltung. Ab Mitte der 20er Jahre des 20. Jahrhundert ubernahmen Kunstler des Bauhauses die Rolle der Avantgarde in der Buchgestaltung. Einzelne Pressen, Verlage und Kunstler wirkten noch bis zur Machtergreifung der Nationalsozialisten 1933 bzw. zum Ausbruch des 2. Weltkrieges. Besonders ein Grossteil der Privatpressen, die nach 1945 noch oder wieder druckten, beriefen sich auf die Tradition der Buchkunstbewegung. Really enjoyed this one. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
