Overview: Sweet Land of Bigamy begins as Helen Motes returns to rural Utah while her husband Larry is away at war. Instead of making amends with her alcoholic mother as she intended, she falls in love with a poet named Chakor and marries him in a rush created when his mother falls ill in India. Helen is left with two absentee husbands and the task of divorcing the one she doesn't want before somebody finds out what she's done. Really enjoyed this one. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.

A very satisfying read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Glad I picked this up.

Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
