Overview: The Best Within Us assembles a panel of distinguished scholars whose work has been central to understanding positive aspects of psychological functioning. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. A solid 4 stars from me.

It was just alright. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Just right down the middle.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.

Finished it in a couple of days. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Will be looking for more from this author.
