Overview: He is one of the most reviled English kings in history. He drove his kingdom to the brink of civil war a dozen times in less than twenty years. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

I have mixed feelings about this one. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
