Overview: DOWNLOAD FOR FREE WITH KINDLE UNLIMITED What lengths would you go to in order to escape an arrange marriage? Elizabeth Markham, known as Lizzie to her friends and close family members, is a beautiful young woman, the granddaughter of a Countess and distantly related to the Windsor royals. Her dreams of a simple life with her beloved father are shattered when she meets a young Irish man who captures her heart. Things are changed forever when her mother and grandmother begin to make decisions that could affect the rest of her life. Instead of permitting a marriage of love and happiness, they plan her marriage to a man closer to her father’s age. He is closely related to the royal family, which would bring their own bloodline closer to royalty, and they see it as a match made in Heaven. For young Lizzie, it is a death sentence to hear the pronouncement that she has six months until she will marry the old drunkard. “My mother and grandmother think that marrying the Count would bring our lineage closer to the Windsor royal family. Well, I don’t care much about that. My heart lies with you, Robert…if you will accept me as your bride.” It is a new day for young Robert Galahan, once known as the terror of Strabane . He has turned over a new leaf , determined to make a new life for himself, one that he can be proud of in the future. His plans begin with joining his father’s business, a savvy move that soon brings more prosperity for his family than he could have dreamed possible. A new opportunity presents itself shortly thereafter and after hearing that the love of his life has left to marry another man in Boston, he takes a chance and moves to America. Lizzie and Robert meet through the most unlikely of methods when she responds to his mail order bride advertisement. Believing that this is her only chance of escaping marriage to the Count, she takes a chance on a man she doesn’t realize that she knows—her one true love—the young Irish man from Strabane. Will Lizzie escape the clutches of her mother and grandmother to find true love with Robert? Can Robert find the happiness he’s never thought possible? ..."This is a story of fear, hope, lost, faith and true love." This is a sweet and Clean Christian Western Romance story. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Worth the time and money.

An average read for me. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.
