Overview: Sentimen Barat terhadap pengaruh konsep manusia dalam tasawuf disebabkan dua hal: menempatkan manusia sebagai hamba yang tidak berarti apa-apa di hadapan Tuhan, dan menempatkan manusia dalam posisi superior yang pada akhirnya mengutuk konsep Manusia Sempurna. Ironisnya, dua penilaian ini diadopsi oleh kebanyakan sarjana dan ulama Islam. Tanpa melebih-lebihkan, buku ini adalah buku karya seorang pelaku tasawuf yang komprehensif. Diracik dengan formulasi teoretis yang bersifat intuitif-ilahiah, nuansa praktis penulisnya sangat terasa dalam setiap lembarnya. Buku ini ingin meluruskan bahwa betapa berbagai pemahaman yang telah terpatri lewat kemasan rasionalistik semata, seperti ala Barat tersebut, harus dipertanyakan, dan kemudian mengasah potensi-potensi Kecerdasan Kenabian yang ada dalam diri untuk menggapai cahaya ilahi. Kecerdasan Kenabian dapat dipahami sebagai potensi untuk berinteraksi, beradaptasi, memahami, dan mengambil hikmah dari kehidupan langit dan bumi, ruhani dan jasmani, lahir dan batin, serta dunia dan akhirat. Kecerdasan ini bertumpu pada nurani yang bersih dari penyakit ruhaniah seperti syirik, kufur, nifaq, dan fasik. Buku prophetic intelegence ( kecerdasan kenabian ) ini ditulis oleh KH Hamdani Bakran adz-dzakiy, Hamdani Bakran Adz-Dzakiey lahir di Balikpapan, 3 Mei 1960. Alumnus Fakultas Syariah IAIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta tahun 1986, Pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Muttaqien Babadan, Purwomartani, Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Direktur Center of Prophetic Intelligence Yogyakarta, dan Pengajar Metodologi Studi Islam, Ilmu Tasawuf, Akidah Islam, dan Psikoterapi Islam di Beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di Yogyakarta dan Solo.Dia berusaha mengonsep sebuah tasawuf yang bersifat modern dan kontemporer sehingga banyak dari bukunya berisi tentang konsep-konsep tasawuf yang melakukan pendekatan secara personality sehingga masing-masing hasil pemikirannya yang dituangkan dalam bukunya relevan dengan kondisi sekarang. Tentunya istilah prophetic intelegence ( kecerdasan kenabian ) memiliki pengertian dan keunikan tersendiri yang menjadikannya berbeda dan memiliki signifikasi tersendiri dari model kecerdasan ( seperti; kecerdasan emosional,intelligence,dll) lainnya.Kecerdasan kenabian yang diusung oleh KH Hamdani bertumpu pada nurani yang bersih dari penyakit-penyakit ruhaniyah,seperti syirik,kufur,nifaq,fasik,dan lain-lain.Dalam kondisi nurani yang sehat itulah,Allah swt menurunkan rasa percaya,yakin,dan takut padaNYA.Dari rasa itulah lahir kekuatan dan keinginan untuk melakukan perbaikan dan perubahan yang lebih positif,lebih baik,dan lebih benar.Maka pribadi yang sehat secara ruhani adalah pribadi yang ruhaninya telah berfungsi secara baik di dalam diri sehingga dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap seluruh aktivitas mental,spiritual,dan fisik. Buku yang terdiri dari 14 Bab dan 783 halaman ini secara umum membahas tentang prinsip-prinsip keislaman dan keimanan yang sudah sering diketahui,namun tema-tema dari prinsip tersebut dibaca dengan persfektif ruhaniah-batiniah dengan metode ilahiah-mukasyifah yang akhirnya mencuatkan wawasan-wawasan baru,seperti bagaimanakah kita meyakini,shalat,do’a,dan seluruh aktifitas yang kita niatkan sebagai ibadah diterima oleh Allah?bagaimanakah kita bersahabat dengan malaikat Allah sebagai bukti keimanan kepada mereka?bagaimanakah meneladani rasulullah dari seluruh seginya?dan bagaimana memacu kecerdasan kenabian dalam diri?
