Overview: हिन्दी साहित्य में आलोकधन्वा की कविता और काव्य-व्यक्तित्व एक अद्भुत सतत घटना, एक ‘फ़िनोमेनॅन’ की तरह हैं। वे पिछली चौथाई सदी से भी अधिक से कविताएं लिख रहे हैं लेकिन बहुत संकोच और आत्म-संशय से उन्होंने अब यह अपना पहला संग्रह प्रकाशित करवाना स्वीकार किया है और इसमें भी रचना-स्फीति नहीं है। हिन्दी मं जहां कई वरिष्इ तथा युवतर कवि जरूरत से ज़्यादा उपजाउ$ और साहिब-ए-किताब हैं वहां आलोक धन्वा का यह संयम एक कठोर वग्रत या तपस्या से कम नहीं है और अपने-आप में एक काव्य-मूल्य है। दूसरी तरफ यह तथ्य भी हिन्दी तथा स्वयं आलोकधन्वा की आन्तरिक शक्ति का परिचायक है कि किसी संग्रह में न आने के बावजूद ‘जनता का आदमी’, ‘गोली दागो पोस्टर’ ‘भागी हुई लड़कियां’ और ‘ब्रूनो की बेटियां’ सरीखी कविताएं मुक्तिबोध, नागार्जुन, रघुवीर सहाय तथा चन्द्रकांत देवताले की काव्य-उपस्थितियों के समान्तर हिन्दी कविता तथा उसके आस्वादकों में कालजयी-जैसी स्वीकृत हो चुकी हैं। 1970 के दशक का एक दौर ऐसा था जब आलोकधन्वा की गुस्से और बगावत से भरी रचनाएं अनेक कवियों और श्रोताओं को कंठस्थ थीं तथा उस समय के परिवर्तनकामी आन्दोलन की सर्जनात्मक देन मानी गई थीं। आलोकधन्वा की ऐसी कविताओं ने हिन्दी कवियों तथा कविता को कितनाप्रभावित किया है, इसका मूल्यांकन अभी ठीक से हुआ नहीं है। श्रोताओं और पाठकों के मन-मस्तिष्क में प्रवेश कर उन्होंने कौन-से रूप धारण किए होंगे यह तो पता लगा पाना भी मुश्किल है। कवि आलोचक यदि चाहते तो अपना शेश्ज्ञ जीवन इन बेहद प्रभावशाली तथा लोकप्रिय प्रारम्भिक रचनाओं पर काट सकते थे - कई रचनाकार इसी की खा रहे हैं - किन्तु उनकी सर्जनात्मक प्रतिभा को यह मंजूर नथा तो नितांत अप्रगल्भ तरीके से अपना निहायत दिलचस्प, चौंकानेवाला और दूरगामी विकास कर रही थी। उनकी शुरुआती विस्फोटक कविताओं के केन्द्र में जो इनसानी कदरें थीं वे ही परिष्कृत और सम्पृक्त होती हुई उनकी ‘किसने बचाया मेरी आत्मा को’, ‘एक जमाने की कविता’, ‘कपड़े के जूते’ तथा ‘भूखा बच्चा’ जैसी मार्मिक रचनाओं मे ंप्रवेश कर गईं। यों तो आलोकधन्वा हिन्दी के उन कुछ कवियों से एक हैं जिनकी काव्य-दृष्टि तािा अभिव्यक्ति हमेशा युवा रहती हैं (और इसलिए वे युवतर कवियों के आदर तथा आदर्श बने रहते हैं) किन्तु लगभग अलक्षित ढंग से उन्होंने क्रमशः ऐसी प्रौढ़ता प्राप्त की है जो सायास और ओढ़ी हुई नहीं है और बुजुर्गियत की मुद्रा से अलग है। विषयवस्तु, शिल्प, शैली तथा रुझानों में एक साथ सातत्य तथा विकास, सरलता तथा जटिलता, ताज़गी और परिपक्वता देखनी हों तो ‘छतों पर लड़कियां’, ‘भागी हुई लड़कियां’ और ‘ब्रूनो की बेटियां’ को इसी क्रम में पढ़ना दिलचस्प होगा जिनमें भारतीय किशोरियों/स्त्रियों के स्निग्ध और त्रासद जीवन-सोपान तो हैं ही, आलोकधन्वा के कवि-जीवन तथा काव्य-चेतना के अग्रसर चरण भी साफ नज़र आते हैं। अभिव्यक्ति के सभी ख़तरे उठाने की मुक्तिबोध की जिस जागरूक सर्जनात्मक प्रतिज्ञा को कुछ कवियों और अधिकांश आलोचकों ने एकांगी साहसिकता की पिष्टोक्ति बना डाला है उसे आलोकधन्वा ने उसके सभी अर्थों में सही समझकर अपनी पिछली कविताओं से परे जाने का फैसला किया है। किसी कवि के लिए अभिव्यक्ति का एक सबसे बड़ा जोखिम अपनी ही पिछली छवि में आगे या अलग जाने में रहता है और वह ऐसा किसी योजना याकार्यक्रम के तहत नहीं करता बल्कि उसके द्वारा जिया तथा देखा जा रहा जीवन तथा उस जीवन की उसकी समझ उससे वैसा करवा ले जाते हैं। जब ‘गोली दागो पोस्टर’ और ‘जनता का आदमी’ का कवि एक असहायता जो कुचलती है और एक उम्मीद जो तकलीफ जैसी है तथा एक ऐसे अकेलेपन, एक ऐसे तनाव जिसमें रोने की भी इच्छा हुई लेकिन रुलाई फूटी नहीं की बात करता है तो वह दैन्य या पलायन नहीं बल्कि उस विराट मानवता की इकाई होने का ही स्वीकार है जिसके ऐसी तकलीफों से गुजरे बिना कोई बदलाव संभव नहीं है। क्योंकि यही एहसास इस दुनिया को फिर से बनाने की संघर्ष-भरी अभिलाषा के केन्द्र में है। आलोकधन्वा ने शुरू नागार्जुन की परम्परा में किया था और जहंॉ वे आज खड़े हैं वह नागार्जुन और शमशेर बहादुर सिंह की मिली-जुली जमीन लगती है जिसे उन्होंने दोनों वरिष्ठों की अलग-अलग उर्वरता से आगाह रहते हुए अपने समय और काव्य-समझ के मुताबिक अपने लिए तैयार किया है। आलोकधन्वा में एक एक वैश्विक तथा भारतीय दृष्टि तो हमेशा से थी, धीरे-धीरे वह अपने आसपास के तथा व्यापक सचराचन पर भी गई। हम कह सकते हैं कि यदि पहले वे मात्र सिंहावलोकन के कवि थे तो अब उनकी निगाह चीजों और ब्यौरों में भी जाती है और उनके जरिये वे आदमी और व्यक्ति होने के गहरे एहसास तक पहंुचते हैं ओर उसे अपनीकविता में चरितार्थ करते हैं। उनके काव्य-संसार में अब इनसान और इनसानी सरोकार तो हैं ही, पेड़, पगडंडी, पतंग, पानी, रास्ते, रातें, सूर्यास्त, हवाएं, बििरयां, पक्षी, समुद्र, तारे, चांद भी हैं। वे पगडंडी, चौक, रेल जंक्शन से निजी और सार्वजनिक दुनिया में पहंुचते हैं, थियेटर, मैटिनी शो और पहली फिल्म की रोशनी में स्मृतियों में जाकर अपनी संवेदना तथा सृजनशीलता के स्रोत खोजते-पाते हैं और समुद्र की आवाज उनके लिए किसी रहस्ययम अनादि-अनन्त की नहीं, आन्दोलन और गहराई की है। अति-मुखरता के लिए तो इसमें अवकाश ही नहीं है, आविष्ट भावातिरेक से भी वे अपनी ऐसी कविताओं में बचे हैं। आलोकधन्वा ने एक ऐसी भाषा और ऐसी तराशी हुई अभिव्यक्ति हासिल की है जिनमें सभी अतिरिक्त और अनावश्यक छीलकर अलग कर दिया गया है और तब ‘शरद की रातें/इतनी हलकी और खुली/जैसे पूरी की पूरी शामें हों सुबह तक/जैसे इन शामों की रातें होंगी/किसी और मौसम में’ या ‘समुद्र मुझे ले चला उस दोपहर में/जब पुकारना भी नहीं आता था/जब रोना ही पुकारना था’ सरीखी क्लासिकी रंगत की पंक्तियां प्राप्त होती हैं। यह अकारण नहीं है कि कवि मीर का जिक्र करता है। आलोकधन्वा ‘जो घट रहा है’ उसके कवि थे और रहेंगे लेकिन अब उसके भीप्रवक्ता हैं जिसका ‘होना’ सामान्यतः नहीं माना-पहचाना जाता। उन्हे...
