A member of the Indian Administrative Service, he has written fifteen books and is the author of best-selling novels in Malayalam like Ushnaraashi ( The Seashore Saga of the Punnapra-Vayalar Uprising), Sradhasesham (Beyond Salvation), Jaaranum Poochayum (Paramour and the Cat) and Ezhamindrium (The Seventh Sense). Pranayathinde Moonnamkannu (The Third Eye of Love), a fictionalised philosophical quest based on Tantric Buddhism bagged several literary awards in Malayalam. I liked it for the most part. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
