Overview: Rachel a treize ans, sa famille est de tradition chrétienne et vit dans un pays où leur religion est minoritaire. Pour se rendre à l’église, la mère de Rachel doit se cacher craignant des représailles. Les humiliations sont fréquentes, les parents de Rachel ont peur pour leur vie et celle de leurs enfants. Après l’histoire d’Ali qui, avec sa grand-mère, a fui la guerre, l’histoire de Rachel raconte la persécution des chrétiens (et on pense à ce que les bulletins de nouvelles nous rappellent face à la persécution des chrétiens d’Orient).
