Overview: Critical Thinking in Written Communication 4th Edition brings English language learning to a higher level by focusing on the effective and cognitive strategies applied to written communication at the evaluation phase of writing or reading.Instead of discussing general concepts under critical thinking, this book explains the details mechanics of examining how a writer may shape and reshape his text in order to elicit the desired behavior from the target reader, or how a reader may apply the same evaluation strategies to a given text in order to comprehend its meanings, determine its worth, and act accordingly. Some of the lessons may be unusual. Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Worth the time and money.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Not bad at all.
