Overview: I find Ride in my basement. He’s chained, angry, and wants to punish someone. He wants revenge. I understand because I’ve been living in hell, wanting that same exact thing. I can’t do that, however. I have more than just myself to think of. I feel sorry for Ride, but I can’t let that sympathy jeopardize me or my mom. Then, something happens. Something awful. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. A solid 4 stars from me.

Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Worth the time and money.
