Overview: Dragonbutt was what you would call a typically quaint English village. It had a delightfully enchanting duck pond, a smattering of locally-owned shops and eateries, an old church with a rather small congregation and a popular and much-loved pub. The only thing that made Dragonbutt a little different was that in its distant past, during what became known as the dark days, it was the home to some of the worst types of monsters you could possibly imagine. According to the Dragonbutt prophecy, those monsters would one day return, and so it was not a surprise to anyone who was Dragonbutt born to learn that a vampire was behind the gruesome attacks on the Reverend Pinkerton and Shadwick Poly.After taking an old and sacred oath, Trumper Gallant and Bingo Malloy, along with their fearless band of vampire hunters, set out to capture the bloodthirsty vampire that had been terrorising their beloved village of Dragonbutt. It was okay. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.

I liked it for the most part. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. A solid 4 stars from me.

Really enjoyed this one. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
