Overview: Il World Wide Web è ormai diventato lo strumento principale per effettuare ricerche di qualsiasi tipo su qualunque argomento. Tuttavia, non tutto quello che si trova in Rete è sempre attendibile e soprattutto non tutto quello che non vi si trova è per questo inesistente. L'idea del Web semantico nasce per ovviare a queste problematiche, ponendosi come estensione del Web tradizionale: da un lato, vuole consentire una migliore e più puntuale ricerca delle informazioni mediante un collegamento non solo tra documenti, ma anche tra dati; dall'altro, far sì che chiunque possa contribuire a incrementare e ad avere accesso a quello che Tim Berners-Lee ha definito un "grafo globale" di dati, un insieme in cui ciascun dato sia collegato e collegabile agli altri in potenzialmente infinite possibilità di relazione. I Linked Open Data (LOD), ossia dati liberamente accessibili e riutilizzabili, collegati tra loro, ricercabili dai motori di ricerca e comprensibili dalle macchine, sono una delle principali tecnologie che sottostanno alla realizzazione di questo progetto. Really enjoyed this one. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.

Such a great read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.

It was okay. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Pretty good overall. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Enjoyable weekend read.
