Overview: Perec'in doksan dokuz bölümde tamamladığı sihirli bir başyapıt olan bu roman 1978 yılında Fransa'da yayımlandığı yıl Medicis ödülünü almıştı. Perec 1936 yılında Paris'te doğdu. Savaş yıllarında geçen bir çocukluk; annesi ve baba tarafından iki dedesi de sürgünde ölür. 1955 yılında ilk kısa yazılarını yayımlar. Maurice Nadeau, Henri Lefebvre ile tanışır. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.
