Overview: Linda Esposito, a fitness and health educator, was diagnosed with bronchiectasis in 2018. The disease, an irreversible condition, causes the lung air passages to scar and lose their ability to effectively clear secretions. Until recently, bronchiectasis, or BE, was considered a rare disease with less than 200,000 cases in the United States. However, with the increased use of CT scans as well as a heightened awareness within the medical community, bronchiectasis is being diagnosed more than ever. It is believed that a significant percentage of the 20 million Americans with COPD have underlying bronchiectasis. A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Glad I picked this up.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

It was okay. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. It's fine if you have nothing else to read.
