Overview: Im deutschen Sprachraum erreicht kein mediales Produkt mehr Menschen als die „Bild“. Umso fataler ist es, dass die sensationslüsterne Boulevardzeitung trotz angeblicher Gutherzigkeit und Weltoffenheit (z. B. die Kampagne „Refugees Welcome“ im Jahr 2015) auch heute noch in einer Weise über Geflüchtete und Nichtweiße schreibt, die ohne Weiteres als Hetze bezeichnet werden kann. Dabei ist der blanke, sofort erkennbare Rassismus der 90er Jahre einer salonfähigeren, subtileren Art der Diskriminierung gewichen. Sie erlaubt es den Verantwortlichen, ihr Produkt als Botschafter einer patriotisch gefärbten Willkommenskultur zu präsentieren und gleichzeitig eine Pogromstimmung zu erzeugen, die sich in täglicher rechter Gewalt entlädt.Der vorliegende Band will in dieses Versteckspiel eingreifen.
