Overview: Originally published in 1926, this Dennison Christmas book is filled with vintage Christmas and New Year's celebration ideas. Divided into five parts, this book includes: gifts and how to give, decorating Ideas, Christmas entertaining, greeting the New Year, helpful instructions. Centerpieces, favors and novelty suggestions and ideas fill this book as well as amazingly creative displays of festooned red and green crepe swags and garland, decorations depicting holly, snowmen, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, wreaths, poinsettias and other symbols we associate with Christmas as well as a vast array of games and favors. Dennison's Christmas books were a great source for party planning, each year showing different ideas to match the new products being released by Dennison. Similar to Dennison's Bogie and Gala books, the Christmas books are filled with colorful examples of party favors, Christmas costumes, decorating ideas, party games, seasonal poems and stories. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.
