Overview: When Ellen White died, she left thousands of pages of personal letters, diary material, sermons, and articles that supplemented topics treated in her published writings. She left these materials in the custody of designated trustees with the expectation that they might be of value in the future as the church faced new and complex challenges.Every year since 1941, previously unpublished material has been released by the trustees as requested by church leaders, doctoral students, seminary students, and others who have researched in the manuscript files as they prepared books, articles, class lectures, sermons, and research papers. These manuscript releases have now been published for the church as a whole, in the order in which they were originally released. They cover a wide range of subjectsfrom biblical commentary and devotional items to counsels regarding family life or the management of institutions. Each volume is approximately 400 pages.

I was pleasantly surprised. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Enjoyable weekend read.

A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
