Las otras dos, Tebaldeo Tebaldei —falsa crónica de tiempos de Lucrecia Borgia, muy influida por el prerrafelismo— y la que aquí se presenta en traducción, Lesbia Brandon, quedaron inconclusas y arrinconadas.Lesbia Brandon tiene, sin embargo, el interés —a pesar de su inconclusión, y del montaje póstumo e hipotético realizado por manos de la crítica—, de constituir el primer y casi único caso de “educación sentimental” a la inglesa, escrita por manos no femeninas. Trozos de vida, aficiones, las pasiones y los intereses de Swinburne aparecen traspuestos en ella, perfectamente engarzados con el ambiente de su época. I was pleasantly surprised. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. A solid 5/5 for me.
