Overview: Since 1933, theh Eranos Conferences have been held at Ascona in southern Switzerland. Distinguished scholars from Europe, Asia, and America have been invited to a "shared feast" (eranos) and have lectured on themes chosen by the Director of Eranos, the late Olga Froebe-Kapteyn. The lactures originally appeared in the Eranos-Jahrbücher (Zurich) and selection translated into English have been published in Papers from the Eranos Yearbooks, of which this is the second volume. Thirteen scholars—including C.G. Jung and Hugo Rahner—are represented in this collection, which is drawn from the years 1936, 1939, 1940–41, 1942, and 1944.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Glad I picked this up.

I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Really enjoyed this one. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. A solid 5/5 for me.
